Job Summary

Responsibilities:

Being able to greet customers, answering questions, engaging customers with merchandise, and providing exceptional customer service
Guiding customers to merchandise within the store
Organizing and maintaining an orderly appearance throughout the store floor
Strong product knowledge
Contribute to the department’s sales goals on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis • Passionately seek out customers in the store
Build customer relationships

Duties:

Greet customers warmly and provide personalized assistance to meet their needs
Demonstrate product features through engaging product demos to enhance customer understanding
Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing
Upsell complementary products to maximize sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction
Maintain attractive merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked and organized
Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely
Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers in a bilingual environment if applicable
Proven experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred
Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic retail math for accurate transactions
Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership qualities to support team coordination
Ability to perform product demos confidently and educate customers about features and benefits
Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and active listening abilities
Effective phone etiquette for professional remote communication

Pay: $40,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
